Transparent film dressings designed to secure the catheter in challenging I.V. applications. Many with notches and borders reinforced with a soft cloth fabric, designed to reduce edge lift and to seal around the insertion site.

    Tegaderm™ I.V. Film has a "frame" delivery system. Sterile soft cloth tape strips are also provided with many dressing for anchoring hubs, lumens and tubing. Dressings are waterproof and latex-free; Tegaderm™ Plus Transparent Dressing packaging contains latex. Available in a variety of sizes and shapes to address multiple applications. Tegaderm™ Plus contains an iodophor in the dressing.

Notched designs provide a better seal around the catheter. Sterile tape strips are provided on many dressings. Breathable film allows moisture vapor and oxygen exchange. Transparency allows monitoring of I.V. sites without the need to remove the dressing. Picture-frame style allows one-handed application and less waste. Unique, non-adhesive handles allow for hassle-free application (1655 & 1650 designs). Waterproof dressing provides a breathable bacterial and viral barrier{1} to outside contaminants and allows the patient to shower. For pediatric I.V.s, the 1610 dressing, with colorful bears, provides an ideal solution. Tegaderm™ Plus (9524 & 9526 designs) dressings contain iodophor impregnated adhesive. {1} - Laboratory testing has proven Tegaderm™ and Tegaderm™ HP dressings provide a viral barrier (HIV-1 and HBV) while the dressings remain intact without leakage.
